How about this http://www.holidayhouses.co.nz/properties/9135.asp
On Lake
Rotorua
8 kms from Rotorua city, it is far enough
away not to suffer sulphur fumes.
An acre of parklike grounds provides plenty of off street parking .
Private boat ramp and jetty, a safe
sandy beach, kayaks, dinghys and fishing tackle make this an ideal
holiday retreat.
This comfortable spacious home has two bathrooms, full kitchen
facilities (including two fridge freezers and microwave), a walk in
storeroom, wood burning fire, TV, VCR,CD/DVD player, washing machine,
gas BBQ and a fish smoker.
NZ$35 per night......(NZ$140 each)............($107AUD)
12 seater Toyota HiAce roughly NZ$500 for stay (NZ$83 each)............(AU$63)
Should we go with this????
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place. As for the car, I think it would be good to have something, I 'm happy with whatever is suggested.
DeleteHey as a very quick look we can get a twin cab ute for $440 plus a trailer $100 total $540 for the stay. maybe this can do the job easier.

What are the thoughts on this?
There are 6 of us Dom. Otherwise would be good as long as trailer is big enough. Looked at local Budget today to see how big hi ace commuter is. (could easy fit us with 2 or 3 bikes inside + the other 3 on a rack.
